A love letter of sorts to two of my greatest loves: Cheverny and the Jura.
Romantic Biscuits spent six years maturing [untopped & sous voile] in a single 500L ex-Bannockburn Estate puncheon named DAFT PUNK, before being bottled in July 2025. No filter or fining. 40 doz made.
With nuts and bolts, we release this one into the wild.

“So this is Victorian Pyrenees chardonnay and sauvignon blanc that was intentionally left in barrel, un-topped, for six years. The juice grew flor. The wine bottled in 2025. Released a few weeks ago. No idea of the RRP.
Love. Ginger biscuits, shortbread, nougat and marshmallow meet hazy green apple juice, dried pear, curry powder, amontillado sherry (faintly) and all of it wrapped in a fog of scent and a thick sluice to texture. Moreish, and still retaining brisk refreshment factor under it all – those two things intertwined of course. It’s a heady experience and wonderfully wonderful and wondrous. Utter joy drinking.”
